Sunday School

Objective: 

Sunday School is an overall strategy designed with the dual purposes of evangelism and discipleship.  This is accomplished by the instruction of individual and group Bible lessons at all age levels.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28: 19,20

Goals:

  1. To meet needs of the unsaved person who often has questions and is moving toward a relationship with Christ.
  2. To help disciple the Christian toward greater spiritual maturity and help launch him or her into some type of service.
  3. To effectively instruct students in the word of God using teaching materials and other resources.
  4. To promote Christianity as a worthy and blessed lifestyle.
  5. To engage students to actively participate in classroom and other related activities.
  6. To develop and implement a recognition program that identify and encourage the ongoing spiritual growth of students
  7. To schedule a quarterly Sunday School roundup combining all classes into one class.
  8. To plan and implement each quarter a teacher workshop.
  9. To schedule an Annual Worship Service and “Graduation” program for students advancing from one class to another.
  10. To sponsor and coordinate a Vacation Bible School during the month of July.
  11. To identify and develop prospective teachers and administrators.

Classes meet 9:30 to 10:45am each Sunday morning. Classes are available for all age groups which include:

Infant to Kindergarten

1st to 2nd Grade

3rd to 5th Grade

6th to 8th Grade

 

9th to 12th Grade

Young Ladies, unmarried 18 to 30

Young Men, unmarried 18 to 30

Singles 31 and up

Married Couples
